Job Title: Procurement Strategist

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to oversee our organisation's procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&E procurement and a proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects across the M&E sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing new ideas in procurement strategies, researching alternative products to improve tender margins, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.

In addition, they will prepare accurate purchase orders, reports, and records, and liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure plant and materials requirements are met in a timely manner.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join MJ Quinn, a leading national organisation with contracts covering the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new procurement strategies
  • Research alternative products to improve tender margins

Requirements:
  • CIPS qualification
  • 10 years' experience in procurement planning and delivering project supply chain
  • MEP experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate exposure to the M&E sector
  • Leadership skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
