Account Collector

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Debt Resolution Specialist.

The estimated salary for this position is £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

• Contact customers via phone, email, and letter to collect outstanding arrears.
• Demonstrate a consistent and professional level of service to all customers.
• Achieve targets within the team by working efficiently and effectively.
• Handle calls promptly and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
• Negotiate settlements with customers in line with our policy.
• Set up long-term payment arrangements if required.
• Escalate customer arrears to the litigation team if necessary.

• Excellent communication skills in all forms, including verbal and written communication.
• Confident telephone manner and strong negotiation skills.
• Proven experience of working in a collections role, with a focus on customer service and results.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Persuasive and persistent approach to collecting debts.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Account management experience and high attention to detail.
