Unique Opportunity for Clinical Development
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic nursing team at Pride Veterinary Centre in Derby, East Midlands. This 12-month fixed-term contract offers the perfect chance to enhance your clinical nursing skills and work alongside a supportive and experienced team.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will split your time between theatre, anaesthesia, and inpatient care. On theatre days, you will work closely with our primary care team, gaining hands-on experience in advanced anaesthesia for a wide range of procedures including BOAS, orthopaedics, and laparoscopy surgeries. You will also receive training to carry out Schedule 3 procedures, enhancing your skill set.
In the wards, you will provide gold standard care to a mix of first opinion and referral patients. You will be fully supported in developing your nursing skills, including urinary catheter care, feeding tube management, CRI's, physiotherapy, and CPR. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your expertise and contribute to exceptional patient care.

With 13 consultation rooms, 7 hospital wards, 5 theatres, a comprehensive imaging suite (CT, MRI & digital X-ray), 3 ultrasound rooms, an endoscopy suite, a hydrotherapy pool and treadmills, and dedicated chemo & radio-iodine treatment rooms, our facilities provide an exceptional care environment.

Estimated Salary: £28,927 per annum
This role offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including a 4-day working week, 6.6 weeks annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays, and private medical insurance.
