Job Title: Academy Teacher English

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Teacher to join our team at Nottingham Forest Football Club. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to our students, utilizing their expertise to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Develop and implement effective tracking systems to monitor student progress.
  • Contribute to the writing of schemes of learning for English.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of the Hybrid Training Model.
  • Participate in training courses to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
  • Degree-level education or equivalent in the subject area essential.
  • Safeguarding Children Tutor Training desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience of secondary education teaching.
  • Experience of working in a sporting environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.

We reserve the right to carry out risk assessments where content has been disclosed on a DBS disclosure if it feels that it is relevant to the job requirements. Failure to satisfy our safeguarding requirements may lead to the job offer being withdrawn or, if they have already started employment, summary termination of the employment.
