**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious accountant to join our team at James Cowper Kreston. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in helping us develop our cloud accounting and virtual finance services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and review management accounts and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and present management reporting, including analysis and interpretation of performance against key performance indicators.
- Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial reporting packs, providing valuable insights to our clients.
- Work with clients to implement accounting systems and solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Coach and supervise junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
- Respond to client queries on a range of financial and accounting matters, demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions and deliver exceptional client service, driving business growth and success.
**Requirements**
- Experience with cloud accounting software and associated applications (Xero, QBO, Dext).
- ACA / ACCA qualified or nearly-qualified, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proven experience of working within an accountancy practice, with a focus on cloud accounting and virtual finance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to clients and stakeholders.
- Experience of producing management accounts and supporting working papers, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
