Lecturer in Pathways

About the Role

The Bedford College Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lecturer in Pathways to join our team. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and supporting students with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and support students with identified learning difficulties and/or disabilities, guiding them to achieve success and reach their full potential.
• Manage students' learning experiences, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in marketing and promotional activities to enhance our programmes and learning opportunities.
• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons, assessments, and evaluations that meet the needs of our students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and expertise, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with developments in SEND and other relevant areas.

Requirements

• Recognised Teacher Qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS) or willingness to attain.
• Relevant degree and/or level 5 qualification in English.
• Good standard of General Education to include Maths and English at Level 2.
