About the Role

Connex Education is seeking a skilled School Caretaker to support the maintenance and upkeep of our secondary school facilities.

This is a long-term, full-time appointment, commencing as soon as possible, with the view to transition into a permanent role for the suitable candidate.

The successful candidate will play a key role in meeting cleaning and maintenance standards, working alongside an experienced Building Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement systems and procedures for maintaining current standards.
  • Be sympathetic to environmental concerns regarding the school and grounds.
  • Prepare and implement risk assessments and recommendations.
  • Contribute to projects and maintenance schedules.
  • Be practical, with good DIY skills.
  • Be responsible for site security, opening and locking up.

  • An outstanding practitioner with high expectations.
