Job Overview:As an IT Business Analyst at TEC PARTNERS LIMITED, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our IT and business teams. Your strong analytical skills and technical expertise will enable you to drive informed decision-making through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather and Analyze Business Requirements: Work with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, ensuring that IT solutions meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving business operations through technology solutions.
- Develop and Maintain Business Requirements: Create and maintain detailed business and functional requirement documents to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Analyze Data with SQL: Utilize SQL skills to extract, validate, and report data, supporting decision-making and business growth.
- Implement Solutions: Work with developers and project managers to implement solutions that align with business objectives.
- Conduct System Testing: Ensure that IT solutions meet requirements through thorough testing and user acceptance testing.
- Communicate Project Progress: Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to communicate project progress and address any issues.
- Identify Areas for Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for improving existing IT systems and propose innovative solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree: In Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven Experience: As an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex query writing, data manipulation, and report generation.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Software Development Lifecycles: Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
