Job Title: Safety Instructor - Seasonal

Estimated Salary: £25,000-£35,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Safety Instructor - Seasonal. As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the welfare and safety of children on camp.

You will be working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and develop your skills and experience in a fun and supportive team.

The role involves leading swimming sessions and being the sole lifeguard on poolside. Between lifeguarding duties, you will be part of our Instructor Team delivering sports sessions, arts and crafts activities, and games to groups of children.

You will also contribute to maintaining the high standard of physical, emotional, and social care offered by Ultimate Activity Camps. Our staff have a pastoral role as group leaders, welcoming new children into their groups and liaising with parents as necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Lifeguard for all age groups of children during timetabled swimming sessions.
  • Take a pastoral role as a group leader, welcoming new children and liaising with parents.
  • Supervise and engage with children outside of activity times.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy pool area.
  • Continuously promote the welfare of children in your care.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children, has excellent communication skills, and can work well under pressure.
