About the Position

We are looking for a talented Computer Vision Specialist to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our defence sector, you will be responsible for developing advanced computer vision and AI algorithms for missile and sensor systems.

Compensation and Perks

The salary for this role is up to £65,000 per annum, with opportunities for annual bonuses and overtime pay. We also offer a comprehensive pension scheme, flexible working hours, and enhanced parental leave benefits.

About the Responsibilities

In this challenging role, you will work on creating innovative AI and computer vision solutions that provide superior situational awareness and precision targeting. You will apply advanced techniques in tracking, optical flow, particle filtering, and pose estimation, and contribute to the development of inverse problems/computational imaging methods such as sparse coding and compressive sensing.

  • Develop and implement computer vision and AI algorithms for missile and sensor systems
  • Create solutions that improve situational awareness and provide target guidance using imaging sensors
  • Design and develop algorithms for image processing, including techniques like segmentation, noise reduction, and super-resolution
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a PhD (or in the process of completing one) in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A degree with strong mathematical content is also essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge of a range of algorithms, techniques, and processes.
