Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented District Administration Assistant to join our team at North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. As a key member of our Service Delivery and Capabilities teams, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the district, including maintaining operational and community fire safety records and databases.
  • Monitor and input accurate data into information systems, including CFRMIS input and data cleansing activities.
  • Handle non-emergency telephone enquiries associated with the operation of the district, including those relating to Technical and Community Fire Safety.
  • Redirect or relay messages as required, and receive visitors and direct accordingly.
  • Support the monitoring and maintenance of fire safety records and databases.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality administrative services.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with care for accuracy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
