Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist
Location: St Albans
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at NLB Solutions. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring all ledgers are up-to-date and reconciled.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to work closely with our CFO to prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review management accounts on a monthly basis
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of ledgers by raising and posting journals
- Complete reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
- Support the CFO with preparing quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
- Maintain the fixed asset register and update prepayments and accruals schedules monthly
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or finalist with intention to complete exams within 6-12 months
- Strong Excel skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good inter-personal, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a pressurised and fast-moving environment
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum
