We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue within our Regional Accounts Channel.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Management: Identify and qualify leads through proactive planning and execution of business development activities.
- Account/Territory Planning: Develop and implement account plans with SMART objectives to drive growth opportunities.
- Opportunity Planning: Identify and pursue opportunities to bid, fully qualify with customers, and engage in pre-bid reviews.
- Survey, Configure, Price, Quote: Survey customer sites, prepare costs, specifications, and quotations to propose solutions.
- AMR: Pursue all AMR opportunities, new and existing, to drive revenue growth.
- Presentations: Conduct technical and bid presentations to customers and influencers.
- Opportunity Management: Manage sales pipeline proactively through each sales stage, recording relevant information and accurate close dates.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Possess and develop sales and negotiation skills through coaching and learning.
- Salesforce.com: Adopt Salesforce.com as the primary CRM application to drive sales performance and management.
- Performance: Prepare for monthly Personal Success Plans with sales managers, reviewing prior month sales performance and objectives.
- Product / Technical Knowledge: Maintain and develop solution-specific product and technical knowledge through training and learning.
- Risk Management: Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, bid authority, legal requirements, and Tyco's Environmental, Health & Safety Policy - Zero Harm.
- High level of creation of new accounts and opportunities
- Experience in managing opportunities/accounts and working in/with sales teams
- Developing, communicating, and presenting value in created solutions
- Ideal experience in Fire Suppression solutions or similar engineering/construction-based sales experience
