Job Description

As a Principal Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and analysis of subsea pipelines, working closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.

You will be responsible for detailed FE analysis, wall thickness calculations, stability assessments, bottom roughness evaluations, and freespan considerations.

Additionally, you will contribute to the development of installation and constructability plans, ensuring that pipeline systems are designed and constructed to meet client requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and fatigue
  • Experience with pipeline design software, including Orcaflex, ANSYS, and ABAQUS
  • Strong understanding of installation and constructability principles

Salary Details: This position offers a competitive hourly rate, with an estimated annual salary range of £70,000 - £85,000.
