We are seeking a dedicated and patient Support Worker to join our team at UKCIL. The successful candidate will work with a 12-year-old girl with autism and learning disabilities, providing support with daily life skills, personal care, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the individual with daily life skills, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments, as well as to engage in social and leisure activities.
  • Assist with teaching the individual about road safety, stranger danger, and other essential life skills.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and own personal car.
  • Ability to remain calm in difficult situations and provide patient support.
  • Understanding of autism and its impact on individuals.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will work a flexible schedule, with a minimum of 4 hours per week during term time and up to 19 hours per week during school holidays. The hours can be used flexibly, with a preference for alternate days.

Rate of Pay:

The hourly rate for this position is £11.44.
