**Job Description**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team as part of our GROW programme. This is a structured 3-year programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field.

You will benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme. You will also receive the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed.

As a GROW graduate, you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.

Our civil engineering community works across a range of sectors including highways, rail, energy and water management. Our work varies and covers projects of all scales across the sectors.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation systems, and will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the overall quality of our road infrastructure.

Alternatively, you may work on a wide variety of waste and clean water infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets to deliver sustainable solutions. You will ensure resilience and quality of water supplies to our communities through innovative technologically advanced and natural solutions alike.

Or, you may work on all aspects of Civil Engineering, from earthworks to drainage and across all types of structures. You will use materials from timber, steelwork, reinforced concrete to wood to support the Railway and provide the most viable and efficient solutions for our customers.

An estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will need to have either a BEng or MEng in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering. You must also be graduating in 2024 or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant Batchelors or Master's degree.

You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
