About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Alcea Consultancy Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Maintenance Manager and Operational staff in maintaining the overall efficiency and output of our sites, facilities, and machinery.
  • Complete Total Preventative Maintenance Inspections, Servicing, and repair as necessary to prevent downtime and ensure maximum productivity.
  • Attend to faults on machinery or plant at all company sites to ensure continuity of production.
  • Fabricate and/or manufacture components for maintenance repairs, and requisition maintenance spares and components with authorization from the Maintenance Manager.
  • Advise the Maintenance Manager of faults that may require an external contractor, and assist with the annual review of the Works Maintenance Programme.
  • Conduct regular inspections of grounds, factory, security, and general building maintenance, and ensure the safety, security, and integrity of all plant, equipment, facilities, and processes at all times.
  • Set up and maintain a critical equipment database, and participate in Operations coordination meetings to agree on work schedules and priorities with managers and directors.
Requirements
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, managers, and external contractors.
  • Computer skills with Maintenance Planning and Microsoft Tools, and a basic knowledge of CMMS.
  • City & Guilds Qualified Mechanical Engineering or similar, with experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, with a team work ethos and the ability to work collaboratively with all functions (Engineering, Productions, Quality Management).
  • A valid driving license, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional overtime.
