About the Position

This is a fulfilling opportunity to work closely with children with SEND and challenging behaviour, promoting their academic and personal growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the classroom teacher in creating a nurturing learning environment that caters to diverse needs.
  • Developing and delivering customized lesson material to meet the unique requirements of each student.
  • Maintaining regular communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.
  • Monitoring student progress and setting individual targets to inform instructional decisions.
What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A proven track record of supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting students' academic and personal growth.
  • A valid enhanced DBS certificate and two professional references.
