Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer - Formwork Specialist to join our team at Coyle Personnel. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a challenging role and work on complex reinforcement and formwork erection works.

About the Role:

  • Manage all safety issues on site
  • Act as the Emergency Person in Charge for the shift
  • Supervise the shift works
  • Working on a 10hr shift pattern (Days, Backs, Nights)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and lead the shift in commitment to safe working
  • Manage the programme on a weekly basis
  • Ensure that materials, plant, and equipment are ordered and managed
  • Planning and programming of the works
  • To be expertly familiar with formwork and reinforcement placement in complex shapes sufficient to undertake the role of Section Engineer and fill the Sub Agent role when required

Requirements:

  • Full experience of Concrete Reinforcement works – 5 year's experience (preferable)
  • Experience of shift work
  • Ability to manage engineers and operatives
  • Experience of maintaining good relations with designer and client
  • Government legislation and Company policy on all matters relating to safety and environment
  • Thorough knowledge of construction procedures and working methods

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Various locations across the UK.
