Tetra Tech is seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our Water Consultancy business in the UK. As a Principal Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design and delivery of electrical systems for water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical execution of electrical design projects for water industry clients, ensuring compliance with relevant technical, legislative, and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects and meet client expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and optimized technical solutions aligned with client requirements and objectives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in electrical design and delivery of water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including process plant systems, digital design methodologies, and relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant professional institution, such as IET or InstMC.
