The Equity Derivatives team of Trading Risk is seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Analyst to monitor, analyse and report the organisation's market risk exposure on a day-to-day and long-term basis.

As a Financial Risk Analyst, you will closely follow market developments and analyse both the realised and potential impact on the trading portfolio. You will continuously engage with Front Office to keep up to date with their trading strategy and pricing.

This role requires a University Degree (2:1 or above) in a quantitative field, preferably financial mathematics, engineering, physics or econometrics. With up to 5 years of working experience within Trading, Risk Management or Product Control functions, you will possess proficient knowledge of risk management, including VaR, Greeks, and FRTB.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. ING offers a competitive compensation package, including a bonus structure based on individual performance and company results.

You will be responsible for monitoring trading limits and reviewing transactions over the established limits. Production and in-depth analysis of daily and longer-term profit and loss (P&L) will also be part of your duties. Understanding and explaining the content of the reporting to Front Office and senior management is crucial in this role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as good communication skills with attention to detail. A flexible approach to role and responsibilities, ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and motivated to specialise into the equity derivatives asset class are essential qualities for this position.
