Learning Support Professional

Totnes-based alternative provision school seeks dedicated teacher to join their team, supporting students with Education Health and Care Plans in a tailored learning environment.
This rewarding role involves collaborating with a supportive team to create individualized learning plans, inspiring and supporting the unique needs of each pupil. You will deliver engaging inclusive lessons, utilizing a range of teaching methods and resources to connect with students who may face barriers in traditional educational settings.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging accessible lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with EHCPs.
- Builid positive trusting relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and encouraging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff support teams to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil's development.
- Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in Alternative Provision or SEN setting desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to connect with and motivate students.
- Resilience, patience, and creativity in supporting students with diverse needs.
- What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
