Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Leven Beach Care Home. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalized care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Nurse/Team Leader in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care needs of individuals.
  • Provide and promote positive work areas and practices to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate with care staff to achieve outcomes and provide holistic care.
  • Carry out personal care duties and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience working as a care assistant or support worker in a care setting.
  • Working towards the qualification to meet SSSC registration requirements.
  • SVQ level 3 or above/equivalent in Social Services and Healthcare.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A kind and caring nature.
