\About the Role\

GardPass Consulting is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our IT service delivery team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing configuration management processes across various projects.

\

You will work closely with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to ensure that all configuration items are properly identified, documented, maintained, and controlled throughout their lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans, standards, and best practices\
  • Implement and maintain configuration tools and software\
  • Identify and document configuration items (CIs) and establish baselines\
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date configuration management database\
  • Control changes to CIs and ensure traceability\
  • Perform regular configuration verification and audits\
  • Conduct configuration audits to ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and procedures\
  • Work closely with stakeholders to communicate configuration management processes and status\
  • Update training materials, create awareness, and publicize new configuration management capabilities and procedures to stakeholders\
  • Advise and support colleagues in process adoption and performance\
  • Ensure configuration items conform to their documentation\
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies\
  • Communicate configuration management processes and status to stakeholders\
  • Updating training, creating awareness, and publicizing new configuration management capabilities and procedures to stakeholders as well as advising/training/supporting colleagues in process adoption and performance\
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness of the Configuration Management Process against SLA/OLA targets and contractual requirements\
  • Producing management information to all stakeholders of the supported applications/products and services\
  • Effective interaction and integration with other service support process areas\
  • Ensuring consistent and high-quality service to the customer\
  • Ensuring that appropriate safety and ergonomic processes and methods are being utilized in all areas of work\
  • Managing process quality assurance through process audits and quality checks assuring process adherence and resolving breaches along with feedback on process pain points from process end customers and process practitioners\
  • Establish and ensure compliance with configuration management policies and procedures\

\About You\

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Configuration Management Professional who can lead our configuration management efforts.

\

You should have strong presentation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.

\

A demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quickly adaptable to changing processes and requirements, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and experience with and thorough understanding of key factors that drive business value and impact.

\

Additionally, you should have 5+ years of related experience administering and delivering Configuration Management, ITIL certification, Agile/SAFe experience, and strong customer-facing skills with an ability to interact in confidence with clients.

\

We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

\
