**Role Summary**



We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our team at MERJE. As a key member of our Wealth Management team, you will provide essential support to our Financial Planners in completing non-client facing tasks related to the preparation and administration of recommendations.




  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with Financial Planners to ensure seamless coordination of tasks
  • Reviewing client investment portfolios, asset allocations, and risk profiles as requested
  • Preparing recommendations, including identifying areas for discussion, conducting research, and drafting documentation for review
  • Implementing recommendations, including preparing suitability reports, completing applications, and making changes to client portfolios as instructed
  • Preparing and maintaining client files, including supporting Financial Planners with ad hoc queries and tasks
  • Ensuring compliance with our firm's processes and procedures at all times


Requirements:




  • DipPFS (Level 4) qualification is essential for this role, with a further expectation of working towards Chartered (Level 6) status
  • Excellent technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial services market
  • Proven ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Experience in producing high-quality suitability reports and supporting research with strong compliance results
  • Ability to respectfully challenge Financial Planners where necessary
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • General IT skills, including knowledge of platform enhancements
