Duties and Responsibilities

As a Senior Garment Technologist, you will be responsible for managing weekly fit sessions on multiple sized models, ensuring that the sealing process runs smoothly and promptly flagging any delays to the buying team. You will also manage a small team, sending clear and concise fit comments on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly fit sessions on multiple sized models
  • Manage the sealing process and communicate delays to the buying team
  • Manage a small team
  • Send clear and concise fit comments on time
  • Liaise with suppliers in the UK and abroad, including the Far East
  • Work closely with the design, buying, and merchandising teams
  • Review tech packs with designers to assess material and construction requirements
  • Review graded size specs and advise suppliers on necessary amendments
  • Understand product testing and review test reports to highlight any issues for the buying team
  • Ensure all products comply with REACH legislation
  • Liaise with the warehouse QC department on bulk inspections, addressing any issues promptly
  • Manage model bookings within the annual budget
  • Maintain high fit and quality standards at all times
  • Collaborate with the Head of CSR on sustainability initiatives and explore ways to improve
