We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to drive the development and implementation of operational compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This role will lead the identification, assessment, and monitoring of key operational risk indicators, areas of improvement, and recommend appropriate action.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement operational compliance oversight frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to EU B2B regulation, including conducting gap analyses and advising on required changes in the Amazon business.
  2. Provide accurate and timely second-line Compliance advice to the business, in conjunction with stakeholders, on how to mitigate risk within new and existing business propositions and product launches.
  3. Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and business stakeholders to develop and maintain our compliance policies and control framework.
  4. Lead projects within Compliance and on Compliance contributions to business projects, ensuring effective project management and stakeholder engagement.
  5. Monitor and report on compliance risks and issues, collaborating with internal risk management teams to identify necessary mitigation steps.
  6. Design and deliver training on compliance matters to the wider Amazon business, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement.
  7. Partner with Tax on policies and controls needed for Amazon Business, including the implementation of those controls.
  8. Work with Tax on Global Tax Control Frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Identify the need for policies, such as in case of tax data abuse observed by risk monitoring teams.
  10. Engage with business stakeholders to provide compliance advice in relation to existing products, ensuring effective risk management and mitigation.
  11. Develop compliance requirements for new product implementation, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
  12. Review and update Compliance policies to ensure they remain up to date with regulatory requirements, and communicate any changes to business stakeholders.
  13. Liaise with business stakeholders and data teams to compile data in relation to regulatory reports and ad hoc requests.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent.
  3. Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials.
  4. Experience with SQL and Excel.
  5. Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
