Support the Occupational Therapy Team

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant on a permanent full-time basis. The role will involve supporting inpatients on our private acute ward, as well as those admitted to our NHS acute and eating disorders units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the planning and delivery of rehabilitative activities
  • Support the development of rehabilitative programmes
  • Conduct individual work with patients when allocated by the Occupational Therapists
  • Attend ward handovers and community meetings
  • Complete administrative tasks including writing up occupational therapy assessments and risk assessments
Requirements:
  • Prior experience of working in a mental health setting
  • Previous experience in activity planning and provision is essential
  • Good communication skills and a flexible approach

The salary for this role is estimated at £22,100-£24,309 per annum, depending on experience.
