Account Team Lead

Job Summary
The Account Team Manager is responsible for driving sales turnover and market share through consumer-focused strategies. They will achieve this by:
- Representing the brand in a credible and professional manner to internal and external consumers.
- Maximizing sales through effective selling, service, and retail standards.
- Contributing to operational efficiencies by adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
Sales and Service
- Understand daily and weekly targets.
- Stay informed about additional sales avenues, such as events, omnichannel, and digital channels.
- Monitor competitor activities and missed opportunities.
- Effectively utilize social media to drive business, protect, and enhance the brand image.
- Deliver the brand strategy, ensuring a local plan is executed effectively.
- Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives aligned with retailer activity.
- Deliver exceptional service by implementing measures to continually improve service levels, aiming for a zero consumer complaints mindset and a surprise and delight culture.
- Be an ambassador for the brand, ensuring brand values are represented and brought to life.
- Manage refunds and complaints in line with company guidelines, informing the Area Manager when necessary.
- Utilize digital tools to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
- Develop a consumer recruitment and retention strategy to grow a loyal consumer base.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to deliver an industry-leading experience and ensure products meet consumer needs.
Operations
- Plan to maintain excellent standards at all times (product, housekeeping, displays, messaging, pricing).
- Review retail standards daily to ensure they meet required standards.
- Ensure deliveries, stock movements, and associated administration are completed within company timeframes.
- Implement auditable processes and administration according to company guidelines, taking corrective action in highlighted areas of risk.
- Respond to information requests accurately and within set deadlines.
- Minimize stock loss by implementing company security policies and procedures correctly.
- Create and maintain a safe working environment for consumers, adhering to company and retailer policies and procedures.
- Ensure health and safety responsibilities and operational activities achieve a minimum overall grading of 'Acceptable' during audits.
Commerciality
- Manage daily replenishment, taking necessary action.
- Maximize sales performance by utilizing commercial reports before making decisions.
- Plan and deliver visual merchandising layouts, ensuring they are completed according to guidelines and within agreed timescales.
- Identify stock package issues and take corrective action, informing the Area Manager when necessary.
- Effectively manage promotions and discounts, ensuring they are executed in line with company guidelines.
- Identify trends and suggest enhancements to product performance.
Qualifications
Essential
- Experience in a fast-paced retail and/or consumer-facing environment.
- Ability to drive self-development.
- Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry.
- Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
