Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Head of Delivery to lead our ESD capital programmes, working closely with Scottish Water to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of ESD's non-infrastructure capital programmes to Scottish Water.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with ESD SLT members to ensure delivery aspects are represented in optimum solution delivery strategies.
  • Lead the team safely, ensuring rigorous adherence to Time, Cost, and Quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project management processes to result in positive outcomes.
  • Ensure control of accurate management of scope, including contractual change.
  • Form effective relationships with project-delivery disciplines and programme stakeholders.
  • Develop the delivery strategy for projects as they pass through Scottish Water's Gated governance process.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain lead to build delivery relationships that support effective outcomes on value for money, quality, safety, and constructability.
  • Ensure alignment with Scottish Water's vision through delivery of the contract.
  • Maintain and influence opportunities to support off-setting of the Target Efficiency Factor.

Requirements:

  • Experience of PLC policies and procedures relating to BMS / Quality / Employment.
  • Trained in Operational Health and Safety procedures and policies.
  • Expert working knowledge of major programme portfolio on design and construct projects.
  • Motivational individual with good leadership qualities.
  • Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.
