Ward Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Ward Manager to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our senior nursing team, you will be responsible for promoting and developing clinical leadership, providing supervision and mentorship to staff, and ensuring high standards of patient-centered care.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:- Operational management of the clinical area, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Leadership and management of the ward nursing team, including selection and recruitment of staff.
- Ensuring high standards of evidence-based care, including infection control and cleanliness.
- Providing supervision, mentorship, and leadership to staff at all levels, including student nurses.
- Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Experience in mental health care, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and risk management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-professional setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to staff.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
