Company Overview

At MPI Limited, we are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and modifications on Boeing 737 variants and 787s as part of our winter programme.

We offer a competitive rate of £40.00 per hour for nights worked (Monday to Thursday).

Job Description

As an Avionics Technician with MPI Limited, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out modifications of aircraft systems, including the installation of new systems and deletion of old systems.
  • Systems testing post rebuild.
  • Scheduled maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshooting of complex systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Fault finding and testing.

You will work closely with our team to ensure that all aspects of base maintenance are covered, including routine work and defect rectification.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working on aircraft systems, particularly with WIFI modification experience.
  • A strong understanding of avionic systems and their integration into the aircraft.
  • Ability to commit to completing the winter programme.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
