Vascular Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Vascular Surgeon to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Consultant Vascular Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a clinical service that includes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of vascular surgical conditions.
Main Duties- Provide a clinical service with colleagues, including the responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of illness.
- Work with consultant colleagues and the multi-professional team to have continuity responsibility for the wellbeing of patients under your care.
- Deliver outpatient and diagnostic services at seven sites across South West Wales, providing local access.
- Participate in a 1:9 on-call rota based on a model of Surgeon on call and Surgeon of the week responsible for vascular surgical inpatient care in Morriston Hospital, Swansea.
- Registered with the General Medical Council (GMC).
- License to practice.
- On specialist register with GMC as a specialist in Vascular Surgery.
- High level of clinical experience and competence in the management of common vascular surgical conditions.
- Demonstrate adequate surgical experience of index vascular surgical procedures and operations.
- Training and experience in endovascular procedures and techniques.
- Evidence of ability to work well as part of a team and within a multi-disciplinary environment.
