Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Epsom. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver high-quality care and education to our children
  • Develop and implement engaging learning activities and play-based programs to promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and updates on their child's progress
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive nursery environment that promotes children's well-being and safety
  • Support the development of our children's skills and abilities through observation, assessment, and planning

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting (desirable but not essential)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies and procedures
