About the Role

We're seeking a skilled UX Design Manager to join our team in Manchester or London. As a UX Design Manager, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and user-friendly responsive webpage designs across desktop, mobile, and tablet. You will work across multiple clients and industries to create best-in-class user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and rapid prototypes that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance metrics/insights.
  • Actively participate in project kick-offs, workshops, ideations, and team meetings.
  • Occasionally support with injecting creativity into presentations or new business pitch assets.
  • Adhere to various brand guidelines across multiple clients and industries.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends.
  • Support with UX Research (surveys, interviews, and usability testing).

Key Skills

  • Proficiency in leading design tools: Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (in particular XD, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Strong understanding of UX principles including information architecture, hierarchy, user flows, and accessibility.
  • Strong understanding of design fundamentals including colour theory, typography, and balance.
  • Ability to analyze research data and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently present and defend design decisions to both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and creative flair.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across multiple clients and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of Front-End technologies: HTML, CSS, REACT, JavaScript would be an added bonus.
  • An understanding of media and digital agency departments would be highly advantageous but not mandatory (SEO, PPC, Digital PR, Paid/Organic Social).
  • Ability to create simple animations and edit videos using Adobe After Effects is beneficial but not essential.
