Job Title: Engineering Manager

A dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager is required to lead the Engineering team for a leading FMCG manufacturing business based in Leeds.

About the Role:

  • Lead, develop and mentor the engineering team to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Implement strategic plans to improve productivity and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of machinery and equipment to maintain high standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments for smooth operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage labour resources, budgets, absences, and shift planning to ensure site readiness.
  • Ensure stock control and maintain audit readiness within the Engineering department.

About You:

  • Competence across Electrical and Maintenance Engineering with relevant qualifications.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing a team.
  • Experience working within FMCG manufacturing facilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Experience working to BRC audit standards.
  • Assertiveness and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.

What We Offer:

  • An attractive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 annually.
  • A total of 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
  • A company pension scheme with a 5% contribution.
