We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our essential systems across our purpose-built site in Coventry and Hinckley.

About the Job:

  • Complete maintenance tasks on manufacturing/production lines, recording and reporting activities and actions in relevant databases and systems.
  • Carry out routine daily, weekly, and monthly planned maintenance, documenting results on internal and external line checks, preventative maintenance line tasks, and other relevant activities.
  • Perform routine NPI configuration, line tasks, basic repairs, line reconfiguration, cleaning, and line maintenance.
  • Manage inventories of tools, spares, stock, and general items, documenting results and ensuring accurate records.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers and QA team to plan, prioritize, and perform assigned tasks.
  • Escort and induct contractors on site for engineering activities, ensuring compliance with QEHS and local requirements.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance/engineering tasks, regardless of origin, and adhere to budget constraints.
  • Complete planned Preventative Maintenance schedules within agreed timescales to a high standard.
  • Carry out repairs/maintenance tasks with a first-time fix approach.
  • Ensure accurate booking of spares from the correct asset.
  • Liaise with Engineering Manager to ensure completion of PPM schedules and outstanding tasks within agreed timescales.
  • Identify and rectify problematic faults, monitoring performance on a continual basis via systems on site.
  • Maintain and document inventories of tools, spares, general hardware stock, and general items.

About You:

  • Experience as a Maintenance Engineer with a bias towards electrical and mechanical aspects, including conveyor systems.
  • IR and/or UV lasers experience is highly desirable.
  • Able to plan, prioritize, and organize tasks, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, and Outlook. SAP and AutoCAD are desired.
