Job Title: Senior Early Years Practitioner/Room Leader

Company Overview:

Broadwood Resources Limited is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Early Years Practitioner/Room Leader to join our team at our Formby setting. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the toddler room, supporting the delivery of our curriculum, and ensuring all children receive the best opportunities for learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the toddler room
  • Lead a small team of staff to support the delivery of our curriculum
  • Be an exceptional role model to the children and staff
  • Be a key person for a group of children
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, and core values are adhered to
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Safeguarding regulations
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents/carers
  • Support the management team and work towards becoming the third in charge for the setting

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Early Years setting
  • Enthusiasm and passion for delivering high-quality childcare
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted, and Safeguarding requirements
  • Paediatric first aid and DBS
  • A minimum level 3 childcare qualification

Location: Formby L37 with good local transport links

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
