About the Role

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our internal research team. As a Research Officer, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and synthesising existing academic research to inform our evidence-driven approach to improving educational outcomes for young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct systematic reviews and meta-analyses on key educational topics to support the development of a strong evidence infrastructure
  • Communicate the efficacy of educational approaches to teachers and inform future grant-making
  • Support internal evidence review teams and conduct quality assurance on the evidence standards and clarity of key publications
  • Contribute to the development of the Teaching and Learning Toolkit and explain evidence to a range of audiences

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of evidence methods and standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to monitor, analyse and evaluate education research
  • Awareness of different methods for synthesising research
  • Strong advocate for equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field

About the EEF

The EEF is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement. We work with education professionals to ensure that evidence is applied to achieve the maximum possible benefit for children and young people.
