About the Role:
ProTalent is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Technician / Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accountancy and taxation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, ensuring compliance with FRS 102.
- Manage bookkeeping, VAT Returns, and general ledgers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Assist in the preparation of Corporate and Income Tax computations, ensuring timely submission.
- Liaise with clients, companies house, and other third parties, providing exceptional customer service.
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- At least 12 months of practice experience in accountancy.
- AAT Qualified or QBE, with a strong understanding of accountancy principles and practices.
- Working knowledge of Iris Accountancy/Caseware, with the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
