Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • ">
  • Carrying out periodic inspections of school facilities to identify any maintenance or repair issues.">
  • Maintaining accurate records of health and safety checks, maintenance schedules, and other relevant information.">
  • Ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures related to health and safety, security, and confidentiality.">
  • Allocating and checking work of colleagues as required.">
  • Assisting with the performance and attendance of staff.">
  • General site-wide duties, including monitoring supplies, completing order sheets, and undertaking specific disposal and cleaning procedures.">
  • Overseeing the cleaning team to ensure high levels of cleanliness within the school building and grounds.">
  • Demonstrating experience of undertaking general cleaning duties and an awareness of health and safety.">
  • Carrying out cleaning, handy person activities, routine maintenance, and minor repairs.">
  • Maintaining the general school premises, furniture, and fittings, and reporting any issues to the Head Teacher/SBM.">
  • Carrying out small repairs and DIY projects.">
  • Exhibiting good interpersonal skills to protect the school's interests in dealing with contractors and other visitors to the site.">
