Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer to join our team on a permanent basis. As an AutoCAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed 2D/3D design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD based on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D/3D design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to develop concepts and designs.
- Produce technical drawings and construction documentation for systems, including glass, metal, stone, and other materials.
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely delivery of designs and modifications as required.
- Review and update designs throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
- Conduct material research and propose appropriate materials that meet aesthetic, structural, and sustainability criteria.
- Resolve technical and design challenges during the design and construction phases.
- Maintain organised project documentation and file management for all design iterations and final drawings.
- Attend project meetings to present and discuss facade designs and updates.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field ideal.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and industry standards.
