About the Role

As a Chief Civil Maritime Engineer, you will be responsible for owning and directing teams who undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes. You will define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals, and successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  4. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  5. Set quality assurance standards in design and grow, develop and manage civil engineering capability within the practice.

Requirements

We are looking for a Chartered or near Chartered Engineer with experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design within the port and maritime environment. You will need a comprehensive knowledge in the civil and structural design of port and maritime infrastructure supporting port operations, the berthing and mooring of vessels, and the transit of people and goods around the globe. You will also need a working experience with current UK and European design standards including BS6349.
