Fire Risk Assessor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our team at Brandon James. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fire risk assessments across various sectors, including commercial, healthcare, retail, and complex buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective fire safety management plans to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their fire safety needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the Fire Risk Services section in handling initial enquiries, participating in pre-meetings, and determining the scope of work.
Requirements:
  • Level 4 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety Management.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in fire risk assessment or a related field.
  • Approved validator with the BAFE SP205-1 scheme or willing to work towards achieving this.
  • Tier 3 status with the IFSM or equivalent or working towards.
Desirable:
  • Degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, Fire Risk Management, or a related discipline.
