Print Estimating Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Print Estimating Manager to lead our Estimating Team of 4 in a dynamic printing company.

About the Role: As a Print Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for developing strategies and solutions to ensure the department and systems run smoothly and accurately. You will also be expected to liaise with outwork suppliers and negotiate and obtain correct prices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team of estimators and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve estimating processes and increase efficiency.
  • Liaise with outwork suppliers and negotiate prices.
  • Provide excellent customer service to both internal teams and external clients.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in print estimating and team management.
  • Good knowledge of a recognised MIS system.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

What We Offer: A competitive salary of £40k to £45k per annum, depending on experience, and a dynamic and supportive work environment.
