Job Summary:
Proman Recruitment is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at one of the largest food co-packers in the industry. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles, such as lorries or vans, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility, adhering to stock control instructions.
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following established protocols.
- Conducting daily equipment checks, including recharging the truck's battery (if electric).
- Ensuring loads are secure and properly stacked.
- Stacking empty pallets and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating Forklift trucks, including Counterbalance, Reach, VNA, and PPT.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
