Job Title: Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant

Location: Essex (Various Schools)

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Coach / Teaching Assistant to support our team in delivering sports and physical education lessons to students of varying ages and abilities. This dual role involves working across schools in Essex, supporting teachers in classroom settings, and encouraging student engagement in sports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering sports and physical education lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Support teachers in classroom settings, providing assistance with academic lessons and activities.
  • Encourage student engagement in sports, promoting health, fitness, and teamwork.
  • Help manage behavior and maintain a positive learning environment both in the classroom and on the sports field.
  • Assist in the preparation of lesson plans, resources, and equipment for PE lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed to boost students' academic and physical progress.

Requirements:
  • Experience in sports coaching or physical education (relevant qualifications are desirable).
  • Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
  • A passion for both physical education and academic development.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Flexibility to work across different schools in Essex.
