About the Role

Nexgen Group is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative for one of our static sites in the Dunston area.

This role involves working 12 hours per week, over 3 days (Monday, Wednesday & Friday).

Some prior professional cleaning experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors and frames.
  • Sweep floors with brushes or dust control mops.
  • Mop floors with wet or damp mops.
  • Hover carpeted areas.
  • Empty waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points.
  • Mix cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
  • Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels if contractual).
  • Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks.
  • Clean communal kitchen areas.
