Luxury Reservation Specialist

ROLE OVERVIEW
To deliver exceptional and personalized luxury reservation services, crafting memorable experiences for each guest and fostering loyalty. Promoting the Resort's facilities with confidence and passion, maximizing revenues to achieve targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming inquiries, ensuring responses meet department standards.
- Efficiently handle high volumes of sales inquiries from various sources, including phone calls, emails, and booking agencies.
- Prepare detailed, personalized sales quotes for each inquiry in a professional and timely manner.
- Accurately record all reservation details in relevant booking systems, including bedrooms, golf, spa, and dining.
- Input all necessary requirements into booking systems, such as rate codes, market codes, and guest information.
- Continuously communicate with guests after initial booking, assisting with amendments and program development until arrival.
- Maximize revenues and create additional revenue streams through upselling techniques.
- Enroll Trump Card Privileges members to develop brand loyalty and meet department targets.
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, ensuring up-to-date information at all times.
- Exhibit high levels of selling and communication skills, promoting the Hotel, restaurants, golf, spa, and outdoor activities.
- Ensure Forbes telephone and reservation standards are consistently met.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential.
- Must be able to confidently speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must have good mathematical skills.
- Candidate should be a customer service-oriented people person.
- Must be self-disciplined when working alone, with the ability to work closely with other team members and take initiative when required.
- Must possess proficient computational ability, including the use of Google Docs, Google Sheets, and email.
- Knowledge or experience of hotel operations and previous sales experience/familiarity with sales techniques would be an advantage.
- You must have a positive outlook and exude genuine warmth, leaving guests looking forward to their Turnberry experience.
