**Job Title:** Donor Liaison Specialist

**Location:** Manchester, UK

We are seeking an experienced Donor Liaison Specialist to join our team at READ Foundation. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our valued donors.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A strong understanding of the charity sector and experience in donor relations is essential.

The salary for this role is £12 per hour, and we estimate that the total annual salary would be around £25,000 based on a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate proactive outreach to donors to maximise income generation
  • Showcase in-depth knowledge of READ's projects and services to inform and engage donors
  • Effectively handle incoming calls and address donor inquiries

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a charity or customer service environment
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, with demonstrated expertise in Salesforce highly desirable
  • Experience in accurate data entry and managing multiple tasks while prioritizing complex workloads
